Module no. 11: Ecommerce Marketing
Ecommerce Marketing: E-commerce is the purchase or sale of products online or on the Internet. Electronic commerce is based on technologies such as mobile commerce, transfer of electronic funds, supply chain management, internet marketing, online transaction processing, electronic data exchange (EDI), inventory management systems, and automated data collection systems.
Modern electronic commerce typically uses the World Wide Web for at least one part of the life cycle of the transaction, although other technologies such as e-mail may also be used. Typical e-commerce transactions include purchasing online books (such as Amazon) and music purchases (music download in the form of digital distribution such as iTunes Store) and customized / personalized online liquor store inventory services to a lesser extent. There are three e-commerce areas: online retail, electrical markets, and online auctions. Electronic business supports e-commerce.
