Connecting JavaScript & Jquery

Module No. 6: Connecting JavaScript & Jquery

Connecting JavaScript: JavaScript is most frequently used as a language for client side scripting. This means that the code for JavaScript is written to an HTML page. When a user requests a JavaScript HTML page, the script is sent to the browser and it is up to the browser to do something about it.

The fact that the script is on the HTML page means that anyone who views your page can view and copy your scripts. However, this openness is a great advantage in my mind, because the flip side is that you can view, study and use any JavaScript you find on the WWW.
