XML Language

Module no. 12: XML

XML: XML stands for Markup Language Extensible. It is a markup language based on text derived from Standard Generalized Markup Language (SGML). XML tags identify the data and are used to store and organize the data instead of specifying how to display it as HTML tags to display the data. XML will not replace HTML in the near future, but by adopting many successful HTML features it introduces new possibilities.
